Beet Ginger Juice

Back home and quickly back to juicing! So nice to be in Seattle again, the Spring turned into Summer while we were away – everything is in bloom. But it’s still raining quite a bit, so on such a rainy morning as today a warming juice is exactly what I need. The perfect warming combo is this beet ginger juice – so delicious, sweet, sour, tangy and a tad salty! Such a party of flavours in one juice šŸ˜›

Ginger had been long used in Ayurvedic tradition. It contains numerous health benefits – prevents cold and flu, boosts immunity, improvesĀ appetite, betters digestion and nutrient absorption in the gut, rids of nausea, relieves joint inflammation. Wow! Just this list of its properties should make anyone put this golden spice to a daily use. Beet Ginger Juice

Beet Ginger Juice Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 average beet
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1/2 lemon
  • pinky of fresh ginger root

Instructions:

Wash, peel and cut all ingredients into small pieces, then cold press on a masticating juicer like Omega. Enjoy the ginger kick šŸ˜€
