Banana Green Smoothie

Our long time favorite green smoothie! Back to classic yumminess this week. Gotta do some traveling soon, so trying to fill up with raw smoothies while I have access to my Vitamix. You never know if you easily find smoothie/juice bars in a trip, so fueling up now 🙂 Banana green smoothie is one of the most classic and common varieties, but it doesn’t make it less awesome. Banana makes this drink super smooth and almost creamy, and due to banana and orange dominating taste spinach is not tasted in it at all! Just a tip for those of you not super excited to have greens in your smoothie 😉

Because of banana’s predominant taste in this smoothie I also like to add flax oil in it. As an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids, flax seed oil is recommended for daily use. I usually include 1 tbsp of it in my smoothies and that way consume this precious oil with all its benefits in a super delicious way!

Banana Green Smoothie recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 1 average orange
  • 1 tbsp flax seed oil
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions:

Wash, peel your ingredients and then blend them up! Enjoy your super delicious and nutritious green cocktail 😀
